...

my dad's missing all the action today...the great democratic circus that's being played out to a full gallery...the confidence motion that will decide if the government stays, to push the N-deal. every humble MP counts, however dubious he may be. accusations of horse-trading, ministerial berths being used as bait, and such flying around.

Dad would have relished this political melee and we would be discussing all the twists, turns and cul-de-sacs that have shown up...he was for the deal, as am I.

If it goes through, I will smile for him...not that the deal's a rosy one all through, but it will prove immensely significant in the country's life-story, hopefully in a positive way.

I miss my friend. :-)

hey ffflaneur, yes, the deal's on the fast track apparently, so the smile happened :-)...

am doing good..but we've been visited by terror attacks, yet again, two days consecutively in two metros...innocents butchered...a warning, maybe? but the spirit is still strong. cheers!

only just read about those terror attacks :(

so appalling - they seem to have aimed at making the most victims, even at hospitals

not clear though, why?? what's their political aim? apart from killing & terrorizing people ?

do do take care ....

thanks, dear ffflaneur, I am okay though I do believe there are more chances of an Indian dying in a terror attack than dying of natural causes.

The violence is senseless and never seems to end. I do not believe any god or supposedly divine calling can endorse or espouse killing innocents without a qualm....this is meant to destabilize the country and remind us that terror groups exist in our midst, doing what they do best.
coincidentally, per intelligence reports, the attacks have been targetted at states ruled by a national party which happens to be a Hindu hardliner that's pretty aggressive on Islamic terror...but well, its not politically correct to spell such things out. but that's the gist of it.
